Default wine glass shades

Can you use regular vellum to make wine glass shades? I know the CS vellum is heavier, but does it really make that much of a difference when just using as a cover?

Has anyone had problem with the paper vellum getting to hot?

My upline makes these and uses the CS vellum...it makes for a much nicer and sturdier shade. I've never burned a candle in one, so I'm not sure about how the vellum stands up to the heat, but I would think it would be fine...so many people have made these and I've never heard any horror stories!

Default vellum shades

I make mine out of regular vellum and they turned out!
I think it is in the gallery under gift ideas

You can use either type of vellum.
My preference is the heavyweight, but that's just me.

Thanks for the pattern. Can you use any wine glass? Are they all heat resistant w/ a tealight?
