Default Where to buy tiles

I know this is a REALLY silly question. But I have never tried tiles and I am really not keen on the whole tile buying subject. So, I was wondering if any of you super stampers could tell me where is the best place to buy tiles and what kind of tile am I looking for? I know there is a glossed or glazed tile that is real smooth all over, I really like the look of the others though, the ones I see all the samples in the tile section. They are sorta rough, what are they called?

I ask where is the best place to buy them because I live in a small town, we don't have a Homebase, Lowes or anything like that here, but I can get to one if need be. We do have local stores, but I don't want to go into them not knowing what I am looking for. Also, would they sell tiles at Walmart?

And lastly, what kind of sealer am I looking for?

Thanks so much, in advance for any help given!

The 4"x4" tiles are purchase are from Lowes, about $6 a box for nine tiles. They are tumbled marble tiles. The box is marked TM Bottichino SQFT. They are not glazed. I use Kylon sealer, Matte Finish. Lots of folks tend to prefer the Glossy Finish. HTH
