Default What can you tell me about rubberband embossing?

A tutorial or just and explanation would be ok.

Thanks,
Goodnuff

You'd probably get a quicker answer if you entitled your query "Rubberband embossing technique", or even just" Rubberband embossing" so people don't have to open the thread to find out what it is you want to know about.

Just sayin'.......most folks have limited time here and might not bother to look at your post because the hover doesn't show enough to give them clues.

I don't know how to attach links with my phone so I will just try to explain. You wrap rubber bands around a brayer then ink brayer up with Versamark ink and then roll onto your cardstock. And the sprinkle embossing powder on and heat set. It makes nice background for your main image. I know there is a video over at Gina K stamp tv. Wish I knew how to attach links with my phone but I haven't figured that out yet.

Not sure if this is what you mean? We did it as a TLC a couple of years back, using blocks rather than a brayer: TLC209 Rubber Band Stamping {2/23/09} by Lynn in St. Louis at Splitcoaststampers

take a bunch of rubberbands and rub them over colored ink pads, drop them on cardstock run them over with rolling pin or use a drinking glass on its side and you now have a colored background. You could drop them onto cardstock and cover them with other cardstock like a sandwich, now you have more than one background. I love to do this using rainbow colors. If I did not explain enough, let me know. You could cover your hands with rubber gloves to avoid inky hands.
