Default Watercolor Crayons on Vellum?

I would like to do a project for a stamp camp with the watercolor crayons on vellum. Do you use a blender pen, aquapainter or can you just color with them?
(BTW - I am using the cardstock vellum.)

Would love to hear from those who have these.
Thanks,

Just found your question... I'm assuming nobody had tried the watercolor crayons on vellum yet. Did you go ahead and play yourself, and if so, any results?
