Default Using sparkles

How do you put sparkles on without having them looked clumped on? Mine always look like a blob when they land on the glue. Is there a special technique? I would like to have them spread nicely across the card.

Thanks.

Lynne,

Are you talking about glitter? My suggestion would be to use a very fine glitter, and a light layer of adhesive. I use a glue pen. Hope this helps!

Default Sparkle

I love to add sparkle to my cards also. The best thing that I have found for this is Gellyroll Stardust Clear gel pen. It glides on nice and smooth and is easy to use. You can check out their website to find a store near you that sells them.

Hope this helps!

If you want sparkle across the entire card.... not just on an image. Get the Versmark Ink Pad and the SU Iridescent Ice embossing powder.
Put the Versamark (direct to paper) on your cardstock. Sprinkle on the embossing powder and hest. This is REALLY sparkly, Try a small spot before you decide whether you want it everywhere.

I have been using the Zig 2 way glue and then sprinkling the glitter, but I was always ending up with clumps of glitter on the glue. My glitter was always on the card in little clumps or bumps. I am going to try some of the great ideas mentioned here.
