Question Using a drinking glass as clear stamp mount

Has anyone else tried this?? Something made me think of using an ordinary drinking glass as a mount for clear stamps. I thought - wow that would be great! You could use one glass for every size of stamp!! I tried it - just with one stamp - and it worked fine.

I was wondering if anyone else has tried this with clear, EZmount, different sizes, etc.... Did it work for all sizes etc.? Just thought I could save myself loads of experimenting if I could learn from someone else's experience!

Thanks in advance ~

Nancy

I design clear stamps and I have a few clients who love using glass cups for mounting. They have Arthritis and it is easier for them to hold the stamps.

I think it is a great idea.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Now that's what I call good old yankee ingenuity. What a great idea. Thanks so much.

I saw this done in an issue of Papercrafts magazine. I wanted to try it, but haven't yet.

I did this for some announcements I was making and it worked great! I have a couple of acrylic blocks but of course I couldn't locate them when I needed them. ;) The glass saved the day!
