Karen, what a fantastic tutorial. Thanks for sharing!
I had to smile when I read the following in your instructions:
"I found it best to apply the ink in the same direction as the scoring."
You DO know when working with wood, it's always best to work with the grain. (My husband was a mighty fine wood-worker, and this bit of information was drilled into my head. He would be proud! )

giggle...yes my DH works with wood too! and I know you have to 'go with the grain'.
Karen, after inking the glue, is your glue still shiny? I did thin strands of Elmers craft glue, which is clear out of the bottle, but I'm thinking maybe a white glue won't show as much? I didn't ink as heavily as you did so maybe that might cover the shine more. You only see it at certain angles, though...
Gorgeous version today too! I love the look of old barn wood.
So the colors you used for this one? Weathered Wood, I'm assuming and ???

yes, my glue was thick and I literally slopped it on.
I haven't uploaded my card but I just want to say Thanks so much for the tutorial! Made a practice layer yesterday and loved it so much I made a card, too. Mine is a doe and fawn as the focal point and the woodgrain paper looks so cool. Put a brown velvet ribbon on the side, now I have to decide who's going to be the lucky one to get the card! LOL! :p

Your color combinations are really nice, Kathy. This technique is so versatile especially for a masculine card which are always hard for me to do. Love the truck stamp!
