Default Troubles with clear paper

So, whenever I have a great idea but I need to use clear paper, I find that adhering the paper to my card AND making it look clean is really difficult! I've tried hot glue guns, but that can get messy really quickly, double sided tape, but you can also see the tape through the paper, and I've tried glue dots, but those I've found are sometimes prone to fall off.

Does anyone have any techniques that can help me adhere clear paper onto my cards WITHOUT all the horrible messiness?

Have you tried the products made especially for vellum? I know they sell Vellum tape that won't show through the clear paper. Another way I have seen used is to attach the vellum to the card stock using brads or eyelets. Hope this helps!

You could also put the adhesive behind one of the images so you can't see it.

I read on SCS LONG ago that you can use the two way glue. Put glue on both pieces, let it dry (it will be tacky), then stick them together. I have done this with vellum and I was happy with the results...

Good luck!

Default clear paper

have you tried the xyron systems?
I love mine for acetate and vellum, you can't see the adhesive if you pull if off evenly.
