Hi everyone I have been searching the galleries, like always, and have fallen in love with all the great pens people are making. I was wondering if all of you who make them can send along a few pointers for what works best?? I think you are rolling paper and putting it in the RSVP pens am I right??? And with the micro beads... how are you sticking them on to the outside of the pen??? So many Questions!! I hope you can all help!!
Thanks in advance

Yes, you and stamp and roll up paper and insert it into the barrel.
You can also just put some loose micro beads in the barrel. If you leave a little space at the top, you can watch the beads roll around when you tip the pen.
Then, you can get some O'so Sticky tape and apply that to the outside of the pen, then roll it in micro beads.
Oh Nan .... I never heard of putting the micro beads into the barrel! Now, is there a secret that prevents you from having micro beads everywhere!! This is a cool idea!! Thanks!
On the Bic Round Stick pens you have to stamp your image onto a sticker then stick it to the pen. After that you put on the O'So Sticky tape and roll it into the pens. I am having a blast doing those. I just ordered 10 more sheets of tape.
Kymbers - what do you use to stick the stamped picture to the Round Stick Pen?
I'm not Kymbers, but I'll jump in here an answer anyway!
I stamp on either shipping labels or glossy sticker paper, cut to size, and then stick that to the barrel of the pen. Then I cover that with my adhesive sheet and roll in the beads.
I use UPS labels. They are free to account holders. They are large enough to roll and then cut to size. I may hate UPS, but I love those labels. I love that our rollers are the exact width of the circumference of the pens. I've made so many, I now need to find a craft fair to sell them at.
for the RSVP pens. There is also another thread by Queen Pennywise on doing the beaded Bic pens. It's in the techniques forum. Both directions give all the measurements. HTH
I just wanted to let everyone know that I went to Staples today and the RSVP pens were buy one pack get one free. They had 2 boxes taped together-one with black ink, the other was assorted colors. I think the total came to around 6.50. I think this is the best deal I've seen yet!
