Tent Toppers...HELP!

Am I the only one who doesn't know how to do these? LOL! Can someone help me. Is the topper just sticking out over the card base or does it "pop" up from somewhere? I keep seeing them and they are awesome looking, but I have no idea how to make one!

You have it right! When you've made the card, lay it flat and then place the "topper" where you want it. No magic here...lol

If you are desiring it to fit into a standard card envelope (4-3/8 x 5-3/4) Just make sure that from the top of your tent topper to the bottom of your card measures 5-1/2" so that it will fit. I position the topper piece where I think it should go and measure it to make sure it will acheive the desired length, mark it lightly with a pencil and then use pop dots to attach it to the base.

It's going to be 'Tent Topper Tuesday' at my house tomorrow. My friend is coming over for a cardmaking afternoon and we'll be making Xmas Tent Toppers.
