Default Templates for JulieHRR's projects

featured in the DDD/Jan Gallery.

Unfortunately, some of the projects I created for the gallery this month were done using templates that are copyright protected; I do not have permission from the publishers to post those patterns online and out of respect to them and in the interest of upholding copyright law, I must honor that. Thank you for your understanding.

With regards to some of them, I'll list resources (books/printed publications) from where I got the patterns & instructions. Some, despite being a few years old, may still be available for purchase?

3D Mailbox: Paper Ideas 2003, Special Issue by Better Homes & Gardens--please visit their site and contact them to see if you can still purchase this issue--I think you can!

Masculine Shirt Bag: Instructions are now posted in the description section of this photo. It was a modification of an original for which I've never actually seen a pattern (it's pretty easy, so you really don't need one).

Baby Shoe Baskets: Simply Super Paper, by Sandra Lounsbury Foose, and available at www.amazon.com and probably also Michael's stores. This delightful book has many templates and full color examples of the finished projects--the author has even produced a 2nd on the same topic but I haven't purchased it just yet . . . !

I hope that helps for those interested in creating these projects.

Thanks JulieHRR! I think we can all understand the restrictions there. You're so generous about sharing your work and your creativity.

I really appreciate the time and effort you and all the DD put into creating that gallery and sharing your work!

Thanks, Julie!

My colleagues on the DDD far outweigh me in talent--they CREATE their own templates and such--i.e. JanTink's hat box AND loose paper box (so very cool--, and MelMel's baby/teddy cradle . . . they amaze me!

I always seem to give up trying to develop something of that kind myself; especially after consuming 20 sheets of card stock trying to figure it out/get it right/make it do what I want! aaarrghhhh!

Thank you so much for the directions on the masculine bag. I can't wait to try it out myself. One more question though.....what size bag is your sample? Lunch bag? Std. Gift Bag? Grocery Bag?

Thanks for sharing your talents with all of us here. Your work is always in my 'favorites'.

It's a lunch bag size, but you could do this with virtually ANY size bag, same procedure.

Default Question regarding JulieHRR "IttyBitty" Book Templ

Hi, I am new here and saw a reference to JulieHRR's "Itty Bitty" Book template. I have searched, without sucess, to find a photo of the project or another reference to the template in the gallery. I was wondering if this project was published in a magazine or somewhere on the website here?

I like to make accordian books for gifts, so the mention of a book project caught my attention!

Any links or other information would be appreciated. Thanks very much.

Hello, Sharon.

My Itty Bitty Book is not accordian style, but could be adapted as such?

Here's the link to the original post where the template can be downloaded. Scroll to the bottom of my originating post, beneath my signature and look for the paperclip symbol and PDF notation Itty Bitty Book:
