Hi all, I'm pretty new to this site and have been seeing some amazing designs and patterns in the gallery. My question is where do I find the instructions or templates for some of the amazing things I've seen?? I'm mostly interested in the "anything but a card" and the "mini album" sections. Being a newbie, I don't think I'd attempt most of this stuff without all the details. I am soooo impressed by the great ideas!!! Thanks

this kinda stumped me...
cause i am all about cards! i rarely make anything but cards. maybe you could PM the person who's 'item' your needing/wanting instructions for and they might be able to help you out!
Thanks for the suggestion. I guess I'll just have to ask lots of people lots of questions. I make most of the cards our family sends out, but it's the stuff like squash albums, box albums or the star albums that really amaze me because I've never made anything like that. I suppose I could experiment too as that's half the fun for me when I'm creating something. Thanks again

i did make a squash book... i kinda played around using SCRAP paper tho.
that one would be really hard to explain not being in person. i am a hands on learner- and teacher! sorry i am not of any more help. remember- use scrap paper and play around a little if you don't get specific instructions!
I'm not a SU demo, just an addict, but fortunately I've found a great "dealer" who is willing to share many of her secrets with me. She's a great gal who's already figured out all of my weaknesses. the scrap paper practicing is a good idea. I'm a hands-on/visual kinda learner too so reading instructions doesn't always work for me.
But for more detailed instructions, you can go to the Downloads Forum. I often go through the downloads forum and save the ones I like in my faves so I can find it easily when I want to play. Oftentimes, the poster will attach a link of the project/card they are posting intructions for. Or you can always go to their gallery to find it. I just started getting into stamping last year and have already made so many altered things. It is so addicting!
Oh, and another thing...the Resources Page under Projects or Techniques also has great tutorials with pictures since you are like me a visual learner! They add on a new tutorial every Wednesday.
Thanks so much everyone!! I've been looking in these great places you're all suggesting and I've found lots of fantabulous stuff!! I have a feeling my DH may regret that I found this site, but I won't
