Default Target Index Card Boxes

After seeing the cute stamped boxes that Cathy (stamper-c) made, I ran out to Target and bought a bunch of the index card boxes. I decided to cover them with patterned paper though instead of stamping on them.

I posted a tutorial on my blog that can be found here.

The boxes only cost $1, but they are not in the dollar spot. They are in the office supply section near all of the kraft paper notebooks that are also great to alter & stamp on!

This was my first tutorial, so if you have any suggestions to make it more clear, please let me know!

Very pretty! Did you leave any for the rest of us? ;) I'm sure you and I shop at the same Target.

I cleared out the North Haven Target and I took all the black lid ones from the Orange Target. That was about over a week ago though, so maybe they've restocked since then.

Default I found some!

I went to Target tonight and bought the only three they had ... one black, one fuschia, and one turquoise. Thanks for the detailed instructions!

Now I just have to wait for my new tab punch to arrive so I can play.

This is sooo cool. Great tutorial - I have a great idea for mother's day, or maybe to give to a new bride (full of recipes), etc. The ideas are endless.

Hi Stefanie,

I sent you a PM but I can't seem to find these and look at the office supply section and others. I found some index boxes but they were brown and didn't have a lid like your shows.. where they in that section. I went up and down the office, craft, etc aisle some many times and at two targets, I could not find them.. please help..

Thanks,

Pam
