I just started making my first starburst. I am using DCWV adhesive based textured cadstock, so I don't have to deal with glue on the skinny frames. So far so good! This is such a cool idea - thanks again for sharing it with us!

I found a way to use the left over tag punches also. I'm making advent calendars and "days till Christmas" frames. You use 20 of them for the days till frame... I'm making them for a craft fair.. Just an idea!

Debbie -I'd love to see a pic of your advent calendar!
Thanks so much for posting the directions. This will be a treat for my Stamp Club's Nov meet. It is a spectacular design. Congratulations on your posting and challenge. I shall be looking for your submissions in the future.
Thanks again.
Someone else has probably thought of this---namely you, 'Sahdow Mill' the ingenious creator--but just in case:
these would make AMAZING Christmas tree decorations. I can just picture the tree lights shining through tinted vellum and glinting off dazzling diamonds!. :0) Thanks for the divine inspiration!!!
Thanks Donna! Funny story, I made 16 cardfronts for our Demo swap... everyone loved it. Then came demonstrations and two ladies both demo'd the tag punch starburst! (they combined their demo!)

That's too funny, Amber! Thanks for sharing that story with us. I checked yours out and it's really pretty, but you must be seeing stars in your sleep by now. I'm still baffled at the epidemic one little starburst could cause though.
It is amazing how this new starburst has taken off.....I took my card to work to show a gal and I got an order from another gal who wants me to make her 10 cards for Christmas!
Thank you for sharing your amazing creation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go, paperchick! I hope they pay you LOTS to make it worth glueing your fingers together!
Thanks sooooo much for taking the time to give the instructions for making the starbursts. This is an amazing technique and it is very generous of you to share with us. One small problem, I don't have any tag punches, something else to add on to my list of purchases at the craft fair in early November. Can't wait. Thanks again.
