What a wonderful gift! I LOVE my watercolor crayons and often use them when teaching at my stamping parties. Most of my guests will end up buying them.
My favorite way is to use a Stampin' Up! aqua painter and 'pull off' the color from the crayon to color the stamped image. Of course be sure you use watercolor paper and Stazon ink for stamping. If you don't have an aqua painter you can also use a small artist brush.
I also like using the crayons for the 'Monet' watercolor technique. For this technique, again stamp your image with Stazon ink. Clean off your stamp, then using several different colors of crayons, color directly on the rubber of the stamp. Spritz the stamp lightly with water, then stamp directly over your Stazon stamped image. This give a very soft watercolored image, much like a Monet painting.
I also like them for coloring an outline inside the image and then using my water brush to pul the color out more. You can also color onto a scrap piece of paper and then use your waterbrush to pull color that way for watercoloring.
I use them direct to paper then use a blender pen. I have more control this was. But using a aqua pen is fun too!

Took me a little time to find this - Karen Gibson gets the credit as she is the one that created it. Im sure I got this from SCS. Its in Word format and Ive also converted it to a PDF for you.
My goodness, you guys have all be extremely helpful and motivating! THANK YOU for ALL your help! I really had no idea what to do with them before, but now I am ready to go play with my new crayons and see what I can create!
I love mine! You are going to find so many things to do with them! I like coloring directly on a solid stamp and misting my paper and stamp with water - especially something like a tree stamp. For spring, color some yellow and then green, then a deeper green here and there. Press it to the paper and hold a moment to let the color saturate the watercolor paper. It looks just like you really watercolored the image from scratch! Use fall colors for a fall card.
I usually just use my aquapainter to pull color off the end of the crayon and paint away! Have fun!
