Question Stamping with markers?

Does anyone have a tutorial or can you explain it for me? For example, with sentiment stamps, how would you stamp one word in red and the rest in black?
Thanks!

color each word with a marker in the color of your choice. After all words are inked/colored then huff on the stamp to wet the ink again.

Do you have to use a certain kind of marker? Water based or alcohol?

The ones I use are Prisma water based markers. I used SU markers when I first started stamping, and they work too with the huffing. I've never used the aalcohol ones. Anyone?

You are right about the alchol markers, you can't huff on them to rejuice so to speak. Water based markers with brush style tips are easiest to use in this technique. I too use SU" markers but have read some good things about Plumes too. There was another thread that we were discussing copics vs. SU!. I will try to find it and link it for you.

Any waterbased marker will work for huffing. LePlumes,SU, CTMH, Tombow

Copics and Prismas will not work as they are alcohol based and dry right away.
