Hello, I love to stamp an image, then color it in with markers or chalks (using a blender pen.) I have found that the ink always is a bit smeary, no matter how long I leave it to dry, making the colors darker. I haved used both dye and pigmant ink. I even tried setting it with my heat gun once! Any tips on how to do this?
After a recommendation on this site, I started using my Versafine Black to stamp before coloring (works great). I believe others also recommend Palette Hybrid and Memories Black ink for this, too. Hope that helps!
Thanks. I have the StazOn in white, and I don't really like it. It doesn't seem as bright as I would like. Maybe it is hard to get white actually white?
I use Versamark and emboss with detail black - it's not glossy, and it is barely raised, and it won't smear when you color with markers, aqua pens or blender pens!
Hey All,
I just wanted to tell you I did purchase the black StazOn, then did a test sheet. The StazOn was the best. Well, embossing worked too, but is more work! hehehehe
