I'm looking for someone who can share a template and instructions for the 60 cards you can make from a Simply Scrappin Kit and a package of card stock. Someone told me about it, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.
I just did a super sized stamp camp using summer sketches. I desined 9 cards by looking at samples in this site and Stampin Up's demo site to come up with my ideas. I cut all the peices my guests would need ahead of time. Then on the day I demoed each card and had them make them as I did. AFter the demo's they could either make multiples of each card or go wild and make their own designs. I had a little of both. I am only in my third month of Stampin up, so I only had 4 people come, but it was a blast and they loved what they walked away with. They were able to make any where of from 2 to 6 of each design. I supplied scraps, other stamp sets, and Ink I have so they could experiment.
They loved it and I think they will return for more workshops that I offer.

Reason: forgot to send e-mail address
Hey, Patti, It's me again. When I tried to open the attachment with the template, I can't get it to print out well. I can see the lines, but the printing/ words etc. are just gray blurry blobs. What am I doing wrong? I've tried several different things, but nothing seems to help.
Lately I've noticed a large number of posts where people have been requesting templates, instructions, etc., and have been including their full e-mail addresses. Did you all know that when you do that you're opening yourself up to spam attacks? Spammers often use computer programs that search web pages and internet message boards for e-mail addresses to add to their mailing lists, and the usual dead giveaway is that little '@' symbol combined with the '.com' or '.net' ending. You can fool these programs by writing your address in such a way that only a human being can read it -- for example, type "username AT serviceprovider DOT com". Another solution would be to simply PM your address to the other person.
So, using the first post by shirley as example:
stampwithshirley AT yahoo DOT com
Thank you for this little tidbit of information. I've definitely learned another new thing today - just like I always tell my students in my classroom. I will be much more careful about this in the future!!!
Thanks to all for your PM's and messages in this thread! I do have the template for 16 cards from the kit, and had saved the 60 cards template. So...stay tuned (after the break for you AI followers!)
I have asked permission from the author of the 16 cards kit to post here. And I am asking for the author of the 60 cards to come forward! I don't have her name, but I saved the template from this site! My comfort level is getting permission before I post.
If I don't hear from the 60 cards person - well, the 16 card template is easy to understand (thanks Cathcraft!) and could be multiplied (sort of like tripling a recipe!). I certainly had enough IFB left over to repeat a few times.
OK everyone - I've attached the word document with the information for 16 cards from a Simply Scrappin Kit. Kudos to Cathcraft for her original post! She uses a Christmas kit, I used In Full Bloom. And you will have lots of stuff left over, so you could easily double the recipe for more cards from one kit!
Well, I never found out who created this - so I can't properly thank - or ask permission to repost! I did get it from SCS a while ago!
The document explains how to cut up your card stock to get your 60 cards. Then references any OSW you might have around to decorate. So, it should be helpful - to use up your Simply Scrappin Kits!
Have fun. And if the author sees this - please let us know to thank you for your work!
It is pictures and instructions to make 60 cards from the "In Full Bloom" scrap kit that is now available to buy in new SU catalog. Last year it was avaiable as a hostess reward only.
Has anyone found a good source of inspiration for mass producing cards from the Simply Scrappin' kits (as noted in the March 2005 Stampin' Success)?
I Love the idea, have scheduled a class for my customers and now need to get to down to work. Also, wondering what pricing people have done with this and what was included.
Thanks!

Stamp at Home Mom (love those new shirts!)
I was searching for this template myself and ran across this thread of yours. Did you ever get this template and if so are you willing to share them with me?
Will be anxiously awaiting your reply.
Thanks!
