remember
remember to get the pre-sanded shrink plastic if you are going to run it threw your printer. No matter how well you clean the plastic off after you sand it, there will still be dust left on the plastic to ruin you printer.
Since I did not read the whole thread, some one may have already told you this.
Remember to use the correct ink in your printer. If the plastic gets wet, even after bakeing, it will still run. HP ink is not good.
If you sand the plastic use a fine sand paper. You need to go north & south, and east and west.
I cut up a brown paper bag to line my cookie sheets with. Since you use the rack as far away from the heat elements and only bake the plastic at 275, 300 or 325', depending on the brand of plastic, the paper will not start on fire. I even cut up a small cardboard box to use. You put it in the oven for 1 - 3 min. top. The higher the temp and the longer the time, the plastic will melt. Yes, I baked it at 350 one time. When I tried to remove the item from the paper, the plastic became a string.
To cut a lot of the same shape, use your big shot and sizzix dies. It works well. I read that some people use their spellbinders. I have been too scared to try.
Do remember to punch a hole before baking. I read that someone use the cac-a-dial when they forget. I have not tried it.
I love during charms, girl scout swaps, etc, with shrink art.
Have fun
