How do they make those scallop edges that I constantly see in the new SU catalog??? Is it made by the scallop stamp set and then cut??? Is it a punch of some kind??? The ones that I see are a single row of scallop circles...whole, not individual circles...hope I am making sense. thanks.
You can use the slit punch.
You can use your SU corner rounder with the guard taken off.
You can buy the new scalloped notes from SU.
You can punch a bunch of little circles and line them up so they peek out from under a layer.
I just ordered some of the scalloped notes from SU to try with the All Scallops stamp set.
The guard is the piece that fits around the punch and holds the paper at the right angle.
stresslovescocoa, if you give us a specific example, we can try to figure out what SU used to make the scallops. Also, there's a list of products used for each sample in the back of the catalog.

I am wondering the very same thing. I have tried all of the techniques suggested above in another post, and they just don't look the same. The sample I'm really curious about is on pg 65 of the SSC; 2nd project. Does anyone have an idea how the corners were done so perfectly? Or do you think it was scallop scissors used?

According to the supply list from the catalog, they used On Board Ginormous Pieces which is chipboard. So I would say they traced the chipboard onto the paper, cut it out, glued it on and sanded down the edges.
I really wish Stampin' Up would make it easier for all of us and offer various scallop punches. I love my SU scallop punch but would love to have more sizes!

Thanks Jana! I completely missed that. It looks like it was traced on paper. I read, and read, and read the discripiton and did not pick up on the Ginormous Pieces. I can now rest my mind and try the same thing!
