Default rose in winter techniques

I am ordering the rose in winter set in Jan. with my demo kit.
I've looked in the gallery and what I've seen is beautiful.
What are some of the techniques and ways of using this set?

Here is a card I made using that set and a bounce dryer sheet for texture... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Try the faux linen technique. There are two samples of this in the Roses in Winter gallery. I have recently done this technique with this set and love it.

Thanks for your replies.
I haven't seen the set yet, is it a 2 step?
From the samples I've seen, it looks complicated.

Yes, it is two step stamping. No, it is not complicated at all to use this set. I think this is one of the easiest two step stamping sets to use and hard to mess up. I always wanted the set and was trying to be good about what I was spending, so I borrowed from my downline. Well I realized I was borrowing the set so much that I might as well own it and so I bought it last month. I'm so glad I did because it is so easy to make beautiful cards with and I don't have to stress about lining everything up perfectly. You will love it!!

I wasn't sure I'd like this set. Once I got it, I use it all the time! Have fun! Oh, btw, there's a lovely birthday calendar page done with it. Look it up!
