Question Paperclip Bookmarks

How big are the scallop circles on the jumbo paperclip bookmarks? How do you cut the scallop? Do you have to use chipboard as a backing for these bookmarks? Is there a tutorial on the constructions of these?
Thanks,

I use Stampin Up!'s scalloped circle punch to make mine. I punch 4 flowers and glue two together for each side of the clip for added strength. Then I punch the centers with the 1 " punch. So easy and always a bit hit! Use very tacky thick glue to attach the flowers to the clips. Add a little ribbon and knot. I have photos on my blog. You really don't need a tutorial. ;)

I use the Scallop Circle punch too. To put them together I use Crystal Effects and Stampin' Dimensionals. The dimensionals hold them together while the Crystal Effects dry and form a very permanent bond.

Default Jumbo Paper Clips

I also have used "pop-dots" for making them. I made 40 of them for my son's first grade class to mark their agenda books and they loved them. I was able to find a package of 10 jumbo clips at Walmart for just 99 cents, quite a steal compared to Office Max. Have fun making them.
