Default Paperclip bookmarks

I'm new to the forum and love the paperclip bookmarks. I saw in the picture you had what looked like an orginal sizzix and the cuttlebug dies. I don't own a diecut machine and really want one. Can you use the cuttlebug dies in that machine (is that the orginal sizzix in the picture)? For the record, is there a place that says what dies are interchangeable? Thanks...I was going to post this under tolls but it orginally has to do with the project...sorry if it is in the wrong place!

Default sizzix cuttlebug

yes you can use the cuttlebug dies with the sizzix machine, you just need the adapter and a little practice. Sometime I need to put a piece of paper over the die to use as a shim , but all of mine work great.

I agree, I love my cuttlebug. I've used their embossing folders and dies. But also the thick and think Sizzix, with no trouble!

Hey! I have had my sizix for about 2 years maybe more - and I didn't know that the dies were interchangable! Thanks for the GREAT tip!

I don't know if the Sizzix is inter-changable, but the Cuttlebug is...that's why I bought that brand. Deb

You can use most dies with the sizzix. I have several cuttlebug embossing folders and dies that I use with my old style sizzix. But I would suggest getting the Sizzix Big Kick instead of the original sizzix. It's a more but you can use so many more. I am thinking about selling my original sizzix and getting a big kick. The Big kick runs $150 but I would wait and use a 40%/50% off and get that one if you can.
