Default Note Cubes - What stamps to use?

I am attempting to do some of those white note 3x3 cubes and was wondering if you had to use certain types of stamps for them. Can you use the type of stamps where the images needs to be colored in or do you need to use flat images. Any suggestions on stamps sets that would make nice note cubes? Thanks, Niki

Smile Note cubes

You can use images that need to be colored in. The only problem I have had is when I came to the side with the binding. It tends to smear easily. As far as stamp sets, I have used A Tree for All Seasons, Thank You from Alphabet Soup, and a gator from a valentine set because my school mascot is the Gators.

Do a gallery search for the cubes and you'll find tons of examples that use both the bold images as well as the outlined ones that you color in.
I like nice bright florals and such - and I was told that StazOn inks work really well for these cubes, but I've not tried it yet myself.

Good luck!!

Default Note Cubes

Remembered one other piece of advice. You need to put rubber bands around the cube to keep it from shifting. One going each way. Have fun.

Thanks everyone. I really didn't know about putting rubber bands around the cubes first. This should help immensely. I want to do some with the cute animals like in the Crab and Co or the Unfrogrettable. Niki
