Smile notch and tuck card?

What is this? Do you have a picture or a sample somewhere? Sounds very interesting.

I am unable to email JanTInk. I guess maybe she does not accept emails. But her card is amazing and if I found out the technique, I will share with you ladies. Maybe we will get lucky and JanTink will read and answer us all.

HUMMM, maybe you can try using your circle punch for the notch and putting the punched out piece on the card front with a stampin dimensional. That would create enough room for the tuck...know what I mean???

Worth a shot. I don't know. Just looked at the picture and that is all that I came up with.

Quote from Jan's blog " . . . as you can see by the insert in the card photo above, by slightly offseting the Riveting piece (mounted on a dimensional) so that it overlaps the notch in the card front, you can tuck the cardfront behind the the Riveting piece, holding it closed. The card we did at CONVENTION, in Salt Lake City, center of the known universe, actually was done 180 degrees the other way; the tuck was at the top and the front of the card opened like a drawbridge. Very cute, but I like this better."

She blows me away! Amazing . . .

thats exactly what i came up with...i've just made a template for myself, so to speak....but here's what i did: cut an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet @ 4.25"...this will give u 2 strips(4.25X11)....score @ 5.5" & then @ 1"....next, before u fold the inch over, take ur punch (i used my 1 3/8 circle) and center it to the fold line u just created so ur notch is even....then u can apply adhesive to the fold & fold...finishe decorating ur card & circle ....when ur ready apply a pop dot or dimensional to back of circle & place on inside of card making sure the notch kinda catches in it....hope this helps! it worked nice for me & i cant wait to start making some...ty jan for the idea!!
