Hi there. I was on here a while ago and I saw something about a no tie bow. It had something to do with like 6 holes punched and then you lace your ribbon through it to make a bow. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!
Go to the "Resources" forum and click on "tips for tying ribbon knots." The first post has several thumbnails with info. Sorry I don't know how to connect you directly.
Well, crumb - I thought I had saved the thread, but didn't.
Here's a file I put together with images from the original instructions on www.mostlyanimals.com; that website seems to have disappeared, but these are the same instructions that were posted in the SCS thread a little while ago (I just formatted them for printing):
Thank you! I have been messing up ribbon all day trying to get it right on my own!!!!
Making swaps for Convention 2006 SLC, and now they will have decent bows!!!

I an seriously bow tie impaired, I say this is the reason God gave me boys!
Thank you SO much for posting this link! I can now tie a bow (at least on a card!).
Thanks SOOOOO much for these instructions! I usually tie knots (I always say they look just as nice). But maybe now I'll do more bows with this technigue. I can't wait to show my Stamper's 10 group. Thanks again!!!!
Thank you Cheryl for your links to the directions for the no tie bow! I have been looking for this for a few days and finally stumbled upon your post! THANKS!!

OK, I don't mean to sound dumb.....BUT after you tie the bow (which I did and it turned out great) how do you get it off the piece of cardstock and onto your greeting card?

Wow, that is a fabulous bow-- can't wait to try it!!
Pam, I think you are supposed to do this ribbon right onto your card! Or maybe you could make this bow on a smaller layer and then mat onto your base greeting card.

Pam - I posted this answer in your other thread as well - but I'm putting it here to keep it with this post.
Whenever I use this bow, I tie it directly on my card (or on a layer that gets attached to the card)
You punch your holes where you want the center of the bow to go, and take it from there
Hey ya'll..........while waiting for replys on this, I decided to take my scizzers cut the card stock to get the bow out and it worked! Of course, I had to play with the bow a bit to shape it, etc.
