Ok. I know this is a really dumb question but I need to be walked through things. I am ordering some jumbo wheels and I am a bit clueless.
Am I understanding this right? You buy the one cell empty jumbo cartridge and the ink refill of your choice...then you just ink up the cell with your refill?
Like I said, this is a dumb question but it's better to ask a dumb question than to do it wrong and tell my stampers to do it that way too.

You are correct. You can also purchase the most popular colors in the pre-filled jumbo cartridges. I always recommend that my customers purchase the refill with both the pre-filled cartridges and the empty ones. Sometimes the pre-filled ones come in a little dry. If the customers purchase the refill at the same time, they aren't disappointed and they are prepared to do a lot of roller stamping!
How did I miss that? I guess I forgot that they have them pre-filled. But, I still needed to know even though my favorites look like they are covered. Thanks for the help.

I ordered about 6 of the pre-filled, but I HAD to get an empty for Versamark.
I ordered two empties because I wanted a yoyo yellow one I could use just for cleaning the rollers. Be forwarned, the black makes a big mess on your rollers.
I have to say, I was really surprised that there was no jumbo cartridge available in either the new Basic Brown or Chocolate Chip. You would think one of those would be an option. Really surprised it wasn't.

I am confused ~ you use the yellow to clean the rollers? I haven't heard of this before...
I have a dumb question about this also. What do you do with the empty cells? When you say buy the re-inkers does that mean you ink the cell up with it and then that cell always has to be used for that color?
What about SU!'s clear embossing cartridge ? Does anyone know if this is as good as Versamark? If not, I'll recommend my customer get the Versamark refill and an empty cartridge...

Yep, that's exactly what it's for. You then have a cell that is inked in a color you will use even if they don't normally sell them in that color. You can get multi-cell cartridges for the little ones, so you get the "spectrum pad" look on the wheel. I haven't looked to see if jumbos have that or not. I've only used the single cells so far so it hasn't mattered.

DS told me either one was fine.
