Never mind! Believe it or not, I have never tied a square knot before and didn't know what one looked like. I've got it now. It's a wonder I ever learned how to tie my own shoes---thank goodness for buckles!

Yes, that is a simple square knot, remember this little poem to make it easier
Right over left, left over right, makes a knot that's sturdy and tight ;)
There is a super easy knot that is called a Sailors Knot or Carrick Bend. It is more showy and nautical looking, very beautiful and even better, it is super easy! I used two strands held together as one, which makes it really neat looking!
