Default My dominoe photo holder instructions....

First I have to thank my Demo for this project! I LOVE her and well.. did I mention I LOVE her!

You all asked for instructions so here they are!

Here is the link in case you have not seen it

Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Dominoes are sponged (I used both sponges and daubers) with Staz-on - I used, Red, Purple, Azure blue and Green.

Then stamp your images - Aquaria works great on this too as does Scuppled Style (Hostess 1) - if you are unsure if your image "fits" just place a clean dominoe on top! (LOVE from Wonderful words looks great too and ti DOES fit!(barely))

Next super glue your dominoes together - this is tricky - you literally ahve about 10 seconds! So make sure you have steady hand, take a deep breath and place them together.

Next - take a small (or anysize stamp box and rub it down with your embossing buddie - this allows for your beads to be put back more easily - takes away the static!

Place Crystal Effects where you want your beads - place on your beads and your done!

they are THAT easy - whole process took about 20 minutes and that included choosing the stamp set I used.

Hardest part was deciding on colors!

So there you have it ladies - simple and so great!

If you have more Qs - PM me and I can edit this post!

Smiles

Kate

Thanks! We still can't find a local supplier for non-wooden dominoes - but will tuck this away until we can :-)
Have been meaning to play with those for awhile.

Try K-B Toys or some other discount toy store - I got mine form my demo but will be raiding the kids toys in a little bit! I am SURE that there has GOT to be an incomplete set "somewhere" in my house!!!

I also did a google search and you can get them for 28 for about $6 or for about $10 for 56 dominoes - also try Odd lots or other type discount stores - I have even seen them at Rite Aid!!!

Just a few ideas!

So there are how many dominoes here? I guess that is what confuses me.

Three - bottom and sides

decorate all three and then put your one that you LEAST like on the bottom.

Oh this is just awesome! I love it. You could extend it to make it
longer and put the "up" dominoes on the ends. That would hold
a larger picture or only obscure the corners. What a GREAT
idea, thanks for sharing.

BTW..I got my dominoes at Target...cheap.

YOu can also widen the space by gluing the back on UP ON the dominoe and the lower one to the FRONT of the dominoe - making a business card holder - I ahve not done it but will be experimenting for sure!

And Target - DUH - of course! I will be looking there on Saturday!

No each of the dominoes are at the EDGE of the bottom dominoe so that you have a gap - its probably 1/8 inch maybe a scant 1/4???
