Thanks for the great idea! I have a bunch of chipboard waiting for hinges....I am going to go raid the recycle bin!!! I know I threw an empty box in there yesterday. This is one time that I hope my husband DIDN'T take the recycling out.

A hand punch will work fine. You may have to punch through just one layer at a time.

The Crop-a-Dile punches through chipboard, leather, tin, plastic, just about anything. It also sets eyelets with ease and no noise!

Default Toooo Kewl

What a great idea! Wish I had come acrossed it a few hours ago, when I was fighting to dismantle some hodgepodge hardware to make faux hinges for a little door card I made (you can view it in my gallery). I have yet to figure out how to attach a link to my gallery. Anyone that wants to jump in and PM me, it would be appreciated.
Anyway, I will remember this for next time. TFS

Default Faux Hinges

Your hinges look so great! Now I know what I'll be doing with the cereal boxes I've been saving lately! Thanks for the tutorial.

WOW.. that is great!!
I really like the look of hinges, but hesitated as they look so heavy when I pick up the packages... ** so I put them back**
