Default Lunch tin handles

I can't seem to cut around the handles of the lunch tins. They are usually either too small or too big. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a tutorial here in resources I found with a template to print for cutting out paper for tins. If I find it again I will post it here. Hope this helps.

Here's the tutorial for the tins. The PDF file has the templates for the top and front of the tin.
