Default A List O' Faux

I wanted to find a list of Faux Techniques and links on here...instead, when I started to search, I found enough info to compile my own list! So here it is, to help you with LSC67:If there are other faux techniques that you know of, please reply and give us a link, too. Thanks!

Have seen a couple of cards in gallery using Faux Clay...would you be able to post a link for this technique as well?
Also just a quick note to say that I love this website and all the talented ladies that share ! What an inspiration.
Thanks so much.

Faux Clay-This was part of MayVSN Night
This is what you'll need:
Fun Foam by Darice
Heat Gun
Stamps
markers (optional)

Your challenge: Create the illusion of polymer clay

The steps are easy and it will only take a few minutes
Take a sheet of colored foam and zap with your heat gun until the foam starts to sparkle. The foam will buckle a little but that is okay this is a sign that the foam is almost hot enough. Be careful not to burn it!!!! Then take your stamp and press firmly until the clay has cooled off. Voila!! You have faux clay in minutes. You can use some markers to highlight your impressions. Have fun!!!

I would love to know how to do the faux burned edges that I saw today. Does anyone know where to find that one? I've looked all morning.

I love all of this. How do I save this so I know how to get back to it. I just started looking at a lot of things on SCS. I have been a lurker extraordinaire for a long time.

Thank you Lisa - I'll give that a try. I have so many scraps of cardstock and I'll try to split and punch those pieces to see how that works.

You can click on favorites at the top and add this link to your favorites and label it List of Faux.
OR You can copy/paste these links or the directions from each link into a word document and save it to your computer. When you put a link into a word document, when you open the document, you can click on the link and it will take you there.
OR You can copy/paste the faux techniques and print them out so you can put them in a file or binder to use them later.
Have fun!

Default Faux Quilting

Hello,
I am looking for how to do the technique, Faux Quilting. I saw it in the gallery in the "Simply Said" stamp set.
I tried making it last night and it turned out so-so.
If you know how to do this, please share it with me.

Thanks!

The Faux Tearing doesn't work. Suspect the link goes to the demo forum which many of us can't get into.
