I use liquid glue on items such as note pad covers, post-it covers etc., in places where there there will be more stress on the project pieces. Liquid glue dries clear so even if a little bit runs I can quickly rub it off and there is no evidence of a mistake. I only use the two-way glue stick for glitter.
I only use 2-way glue for glitter. I had originally purchased it for gluing my cards together because the my demo at the time recommended it. All of my cards made with it fell apart and some of them were ones that I had sold to people!
I've never used liquid glue...but I'm glad you asked the question because I had wondered also.
I, too, made cards and scrapbook pages using the two way glue in the blue pen. Everything fell apart. I only use it now for reposition glue, like for templates or on the back of my dd's paperdoll clothes.
