good question, I'd like to know also. I think coluzzle has a spiral template,
you can use a disappearing ink seamstress pen, to apply the lines and then add your wording by printing it.

you can copy your first wordart, paste it and resize it (make it smaller to fit inside or bigger to surround the other one. And then change the text by clicking two times on the text.

sorry for my bad english, hope you understand it nevertheless

Default shaped text

Here is what i do

Open a blank document. Click on 'Insert" at the top. then when the drop down menu appears, choose "Picture" and then 'WordArt". Type what you want. Up above the window, I have three drop down windows. The first one says "Plain Text". If you click on that one, youll get a bunch of shapes to choose from. I chose the donut looking one and printed my type in a perfect circle.

Hope u can understamd it
Jen

Default Jen,

When I open "Picture" and then "Word Art" I get a window with five rows of 6 styles each of word art. Have to make a choice before it will let me type anything. Don't see donut. Please, ma'am help somemore. Tks.

I think I can help you ...

Do what you were doing and just click on the first option. Type the text that you want into the pop-up box and click "OK".

Then another, different Word Art toolbar should appear on your screen somewhere (it's on the bottom left of mine). There should be a button that has "ABC" with the "B" up higher than the "A" and "C". Click on that one and you should get the "donut" option.

HTH! (And let us know if it still doesn't work.)

None of these worked for me. I have Word 2003, don't know if that makes a difference. But, I just tried playing around, and got it to work.

I clicked on Insert, Word Art, chose the first option, typed my text & hit OK. A separate Word Art window didn't show up again, so I double clicked (or just clicked?) on my text and a small separate Word Art window opened up. One of the options was "Word Art Shape" (an A that is in an odd shape). This showed a bunch of different shapes, donut being one of them.

Thanks for your question, that was fun to play with!

Wink Thanks

Glad you started this thread. I didn't even know Word Art existed. I've since printed out a phrase for my grand nephew's scrapbook to go with him learning to brush his teeth. It's in the shape of a smile.:-D
