Default I need HELP!

:confused::confused:Hi Ladies,

I'm doing some invitations for my nephews wedding, my card is 51/4 by 51/4.
Does anybody have a template for the wording inside the card that I can print from the computer? And whats the best way to set it up so that I can atleast print 2 per page so that I can save on paper? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you:confused:

Whenever I print the wording for invites or some times a card sentiment I use MS Word. I usually set it so the wording is centered and depending on how much space I have inside the card use either 2 or 3 columns. Make sure your print layout is on landscape.
The best thing is you can type out the info once and then copy and paste it into the other columns

Not sure how many invitations you are going to do but my daughter typed hers up in word & than took her back-up to the printer. It was not only cheaper than going thru all her ink but also they did a professional job & even cut her card stock for her. Than we finished them up & put them all together.

I would go with the printer...but if you want to do them at home...cut your paper in half first...then go to print setup...set your paper size to 8.5x5.5 and edit the margins to fit your verses. load your paper and print away.

You can also use a text box, format it to size required, type your text in the box and remove borders. You can then copy and paste the text box and move it anywhere else on the page.

What I've done in the past is use an MS Word document. I set my left and top margins to 0", then set the right and bottom margins to whatever will make my "page" the size of my finished product (for instance, if I want my finished product to be 3.5" x 4.75" I set my right margin to 5" and my bottom margin to 6.25"). I can then center my text on the "page" both up and down & left and right. I send each sheet through the printer 4 times to have my document print in each corner of the sheet (you have to figure out how your printer draws in the paper so you can flip it correctly). I can then use the perfectly square corners of my cardstock to trim down to the sheet to 4 of my finished size. It's not as complicated as it sounds and I found that I maximize my paper usage and get perfectly centered finished sheets because two sides are the original sides of the paper.
