Hi, please forgive me if this is not the correct place to ask, I saw a cute idea for a Hershey's candy bar wrapper and cannot remember the website. I believe it was stamped, or there was scrapbook paper involved. Does anyone have any directions or sites they can share? I would truly appreciate it.
I've made these with double sides scrapbook paper and they come out real cute. 6 x 6, score 1/2" on on side, then score 2.75" from the first score. Fold at 2.75 score and then fold 1/2" score over to create the pocket. I usually put some double sided tape at the bottom of the pocket and crimp to make a cute edge. Before securing the 1/2" edge to create the pocket, I fold the top edge down to reveal the back side of the paper, clip the 1/2" off the folder area then Secure 1/2" edge with whatever you use....I use double sided tape. Sounds a lot harder than it is. Here is a pic of mine in my gallery.
one more idea.
we did a kit-kat bar that used a 6x6 paper. for the hershey you would probably need 6x7. wrapped around the bar and sealed with adhesive on fold only. had approx 1/2" on each end and used the crimper to seal ends. ribbon went around both directions using adhesive... no knot...it would make it too bulky. stamped sentiment on a small piece of card stock using markers to match the paper....viola! quick and fun.
have a great day
