Default Help w/Cuttlebug Embossing

I recently used one of my embossing folders. When I used my Tombow adhesive to mount it to the card, of course it "flattened out" the edge of the embossing. How do you mount your embossed piece to your card base?

I use tape, never had a problem. Are you pressing hard? Try running your tape on the piece you are mounting to.

Thanks. I'll give it another try. Didn't even think of putting adhesive on the piece I am attaching it to?

I have a 1/4" thick piece of fun foam that I bought and I place my embossed pieces face down on it and then run my ATG adhesive on the edges and it doesn't collapse the embossing at all. When I add the embossed piece to a base, I line it up and press gently- just enough so that it sticks and then I place it face down again on my fun foam to press it on well. The foam has enough give that it won't damage your embossing.

CountryRose,
What a great idea. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to give it a try.

I run my embossed image through then turn the crank the other way and run it through again without taking it out of the folder. I think the image is sharper that way.

I double press also. It does seem to be crisper and more defined.
