Default Help with Tiles

I would like to customize my backsplash tile in my kitchen. The tiles are 2 x 2 unglazed ceramic tiles. I have stamped a lady bug on them with stazon black ink, used SU! pastels to color in the red and black areas, and then I sealed the lady bug with crystal effects. I will place the customized tiles in a random pattern on the 12 x 12 backsplash sections (about 3 per section). I have two concerns: 1) Does anyone know how well it will stand up to being tiled and then wiped down on a consistent basis? 2) Will the pastels fade over time? Thank you for any help you can provide. If you have a better way, I am all ears.

For double protection, you can try spraying the tiles with a sealant which is what most people do when they make tiles to use as coasters. This will help waterproof the tile and protect from times when you have to wipe them down with a cloth. Try this instead of using crystal effects on the tile since I am not sure how it will react with the sealant spray. This should help seal the pastel colors too.
