Hi all! I'm trying to figure out how to use the banner punch and stamps from the SAB catalog I got this week. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get the punch to line up with the stamped image. It doesn't help that the stamps won't stick to my clear press, but that I'll fix with a bit of tombow multi glue when I get it.
To give more details, I stamped several of the banner images and then proceeded to punch them out. The problem came when I can't see the stamped image through the punch. Of course I tried to turn the punch upside down it it didn't line up!
Then I tried to stamp a plain white banner and stamp on it and since the stamp isn't clear but red with foam they all ended up crooked.
Any and all advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

I have stopped indexing my "clear" stamps. They stick to the acrylic block if I don't use the index. A stamp positioner is a real good tool for getting stamped images placed precisely, especially sentiments. Sentiment are always the last thing I stamp, and then they screw up my card because I never get them on straight, even when they're wood-mounted.
This punch and stamp set are the only things I'm getting from SAB this year. The punch will be in the next main catalog so I figure there will be more stamps coming out for it! Banners will certainly go out of style at some point, but no one who gets me cards will know that.
PS: I always use a stamp-a-ma-jig when stamping sentiments, they may look straight to my eye but inevitably aren't.
