We need some help. We are trying to make lunch boxes for a school event and can't find a pattern for the lid anywhere! I know there have got to be many out there. Can anyone help? We are using the Provo Craft Lunch Boxes. Also...do you mod podge the paper?
Thank you so much!!!
Julie
You should be able to find the template on Provocraft's website. However I warn you that each tin is a little different. This is what I do. I cut a piece of scrap paper to the lid size, then cut a long slit in the middle that I can slide over the handle. I then press it around the hardware to get a general idea of where to cut the holes. Then I use that as a template. Once you get it cut you can put it on and trim as needed with a sharp Xacto knife. Use a thin coat of modgepodge on your tin then apply your paper. Smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles quickly. Once that is completely dry, add a coat of modgepodge over the paper. It makes it a little more durable. I've done several of these and each one turns out better than the last. I think it's just practice. Hope this helps.
