Help: Folded Paper Flowers

My sister has enlisted my help in trying to recreate some folded flowers that she found on the Joann.com website for a scrapbook page.

I have had four people try this and they can not figure it out either. We have only been working on the triangle folded peach colored flower.

Does anyone know how this is done or know of a better set of instructions?

The link for the website is...
http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.j...ODID=xprd73097

Any and all help will be much appreciated!:-D

Thanks!!

Melissa, I just checked out the directions and they left out a part (at least in the picture part which is really all I looked at). After you have all the folds made, open the paper up to a square. Push in each side of the square to make a triangle. When you have at least 2 you then slide them together to start making your flower. I only made two, so I am guessing you need six to make the flower. HTH's.

These are simple tea-bag folding patterns. There are better and bigger instructions on any site that shows tea bag folding. You need eight of the "kites" to make any of the flowers.

Default folded flowers

if you click on the picture of the card on the page that opens, it will open another window with all of the directions and a larger picture.

Default Tea bag folding

The 'flowers' on the joann site are basically tea bag folding. Here are a couple of links on how to do this. It is quite easy and I love it as I keep a small box in the car or my purse and make some folds whilst traveling in the card (Not driving of course:p ) or waiting at the drs or sports practice etc.

I hope this helps.

G'day

Smile Tea bag folding

I love tea bag folding.
My favorite site is teabagfolding.circleofcrafters. com

Sorry, couldn't do the link, I haven't made any posts in quite a long time!
Not only are the directions good, but they will email print tiles each month to print on your own paper.

Have fun!
Paula
