I sent a message to the person that made these a while back and haven't heard back. I need to know if anyone knows what the name of the beads the hats are made of ??

Thanks

I can barely see the picture ... but I think they are snowmen earrings? My step mom made some of these once and she used a flat rounded bead for the brim of the hat, and a cube of the same color for the top part of the hat. The beads were glass.

Yes they are snowmen earrings. Sorry the picture is so small I copied it from this site. Would you know what the flat round beads are called? Thanks for any help you can give.

Amazingly, I have 3 hobbies! Stamping/scrapbooking, quilting and jewelry design. I believe the flat bead you are looking for is found in a "multi" box of CatsEye beads. They are carried at Michaels for about 19.99 or 14.99. They will have the round white beads and the flat black ones in a mix of colors. The round ones will be seperated by color, but the flat ones will be mixed up. Good luck!

I've made some of the snowman earrings before and used square hematite beads, got them at AC Moore.

Thanks for posting the link for the picture of the earring. I didn't know how to do that and that's why I copied the picture.

If you go to www.firemountaingems.com and type in rondelles in the search, it should show you what they look like. You could probably get them cheaper somewhere else, unless of course you buy in quantity. I use firemountain beads all the time.
