Default Handmade buttons in every color and all sizes...

Hi to you all.
Today I've postet a nice tutoral on my blog:
http://paulinespapier.typepad.com/

I dont't know, if this is a new Idea, but my girls at the classes
did like it!!
Sorry, description only in german, but...
There are pictures, that show you how to create them.
You even can use designerpaper or a stamped image or some glitter on top!
Or ink it

Use your punches for the buttons.you need 4-5 circles for one button.
You can either use a flower or a star punch!!
Or anything else...
Enjoy!

Greetings
Jenni

I love this idea! Thanks for sharing!
I dont have the Crop A Dile, though. Any ideas on an alternative to punching the holes?

Do you have a handpunch or a thick needle?
Then make the holes with the needle before glueing the circles together!
I hope that helps!!

I have a question? Why do you rub the edges with a scissor? You glue 4 or 5 circles together, punch our your holes, put glossy stuff on top, or even glitter and dry. Attach to card or scrapbook page, is that correct? TFS!

Hi,
i hope i can explain it well in englisch.
When you rub around the glued button the five papers get as one.
Try it and you will see.
Before rubbing around the button you see the five layers and after rubbing the button is one piece.

Sorry about my english....:(

A few hours ago i made some buttons with the starpunch(small and big )
and wit the 3heart punch.
They are supercute!
And two buttons with Desinerpaper on Top.
I cant take a picture now, here it's midnight.
But tommorrow I'll post them on my blog!!
Good night

Hi!
I've added the fotos showing buttons created with the star punch and the 3heart punch.I like them so much!

Guess what: In Germany all the glossy accent is sold out!
Funny?

I could not wait to try this out and ran to my craft room. Of course I tried with 1/4" circle first (gotta make it really hard on myself ya know lol). Since it was too small to run scissors around I used an emery board (nail file) and punched the holes with my paper piercing tool, then coated with glossy accents and love love love love them!!!!! I love the look of buttons on cards but never seem to have the right size or color when I need it, now I can have any size shape and color I want. Thanks again for sharing this wonderful technique.

I love buttons and this sounds like I am going to have to try this.
I have made buttons out of my scraps of the shrinky paper and that works out really nice. The best part of it all, is that you can make them the color and size you need for that one specail card you are working on.

Jenni thank you so much for sharing this with us. Can't wait to try it.

Great idea. I think for smoothing the edges you could also use a sanding block or emery board. Love that these will match anything.

I also did these a couple of months ago and they are a fabulous idea! I used designer paper for mine, but the plain cardstock is a great way to match up your dp also! Here's the link to my buttons.....

I tried this last night and went to bed after putting the glossy accents on. I checked it this morning and I was thrilled! Love this idea - especially for doing shaped buttons like stars and hearts! TFS!!
