Default glitter all over paper?

This may be a stupid question: but how do I get glitter all over the paper? I have seen it on cards and it doesn't seem to be any adhesive? The glitter will come off if I rub on it a couple of times. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Beth

I'm not sure which technique you've seen but here's the one I know. Stamp your image, run it through the xyron upside down and then sprinkle glitter over the stamped side. I love the look.

I think I know what you are thinking of... mix 1/8 tsp. of Pearl Ex in a travel size bottle of cheap hairspray. Mix together and gently mist the hairspray on your paper to leave a nice sparkly sheen!

You can also rub your VersaMark all over the paper. Then pour Iridescent Ice embossing powder all over. Heat emboss and voila glitter paper! I believe this is called Faux Diamond Dust. It is very sparkly and the glitter will not come off!
