I didn't have them either so I just cut mine out with scissors. I didn't really care if mine spun around b/c I liked the house sitting on the snow. It works and you can't really see where I cut unless you look really close up.

You could also trace around the image and cut out a circle with scissors.

This is my ornament I'm referring to:

Thanks- I was on another persons blog and was afraid to go buy the clear stuff(I think of them as overhead sheets) if a scissors wouldn't work well. She had said she tried numerous times w/scissors and they never came out straight. However I like yours so I'm going to get the stuff and try this weekend.

I first started doing the cutting by finding a bowl or small plate to trace around and then my DH gave me a compas to use.....you know the ones that hold a pencil in one end and have pointed end on the other end and are shaped in an upside down "V".

Default cutting circle

I use the circle cutter, it has multiple holes for cutting . I use it for both the large and small sized balls..... I personally print out pictures of lost loved ones and then fill behind them with tiny fake snow and adorn the top and side with gold thin ribbon.....

the circle cutter only costs about 10 bucks

Where'd you find that? I looked at lss at the cheapest was almost $30. Too much for me to try to play with. I am hoping my mom has that coluzzle. If she does I may borrow it otherwise I'll be cutting unless I find one for $10

I had a fiskars circle cutter about 9 years ago and it kept breaking on me and never really found a circle cutter I liked, but I do use my coluzzle circle to cut some circles, but I had a hard time finding the right size to cut the circle so I went back to primative tools and it works for me.
