Default Getting Future Floor Wax out of Aqua Painter

Hi. I was doing the painted pearls technique and when I was done, emptied the aquapainter, ran hot water through it, and set it to dry.

I am now trying to use the aqua painter again, but it appears that some of the
wax may have hardened in the tip of the aqua painter - not in the bristles, but the mechanism that the bristles attach to....

Has anyone had this happen? If so, were you able to get it unplugged?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Good question. I've been meaning to try this technique, so I'd like to know too.

Try soaking in warm dishwater, if it is too dried on you can strip it with ammonia or alcohol.

I believe most people who use the floor wax just keep an aqua painter solely for that purpose and a separate one for water...I know that's really not the answer you're looking for but I think it indicates that it's hard to get the floor wax out of the aquapainter.

Yes, I keep one just for floor wax and another one just for water.
