What is the difference of the 2? Do they look the same? Samples? Explain. I do have prisma colors, but I find it a pain to color, then use the gamsol and little blending stubs..sometimes it looks "greasy" for lack of or too much mineral spirits..Is it easier to use the watercolors to kinda get the same effect??
This is a very personal choice. Some people are very comfortable using the gamsol because there is a lot of control with it. Others who like a more washed effect love doing watercolor pencils. It's just whatever you like best - I don't think they look the same.
