It is so funny you should ask that........... Weird story.......... I bought a new mop head. You know the ones that are the spongy ones. Well, I'm staring at it at the store and the little scrubber things look just like flower soft but all in rows. So what did I do? I bought an extra mop head and I'm cutting it all off. It's a work in progress but if it works as planned I spent 3.00 on the new mop head and I figure I can get at least 3 jars of flower soft out of it if it turns out like I want. I'll keep you posted........but if you don't hear from me then it turns out I am a crazy lady cutting up mop heads to make some crafty item out of it!
I picked up a super big eraser,I use a hand held grader with small holes and rub the eraser back and forth, it grinds it perfect. when I get a little pile in the dish I'll put a few drops of reinker.and stir it up and let it dry and put it in a container. its a little work but I saved a lot of money and have many colors. I bought the eraser at the dollar store.
Dorothy, when you get the erasers from the dollar stores, are there any particular ones you get? Are they colored already or white? Also, what kind of adhesive do you use when you use it on the card? When you let it dry after the reinker, do you spread it out on something such as waxpaper? Thank you so much for your response.

Kathy,The eraser I got was pink and really big,it was in with the school supplies at the dollar store, after i shred it with the small hole knuckle buster (grater) than I put it on wax paper and add re inker and mix it with a spoon so it gets all the color,I press the spoon and make sure all of it is colored, let it dry and put it in a container. I have 7 colors so far and haven't even used half of the eraser. It looks exactly the same .It seems like it takes forever but i did it yesterday and got 7 good size containers. If there was a way to send a picture of the eraser to show you how big it is I would. the ink colors it real good. Dot
Dorothy...Thank you so much for answering my questions. That is so cool, and I can wait to make some. I am sure it does take time, but if it saves money, that is incentive enough for me to do it.
I just bought a jar of Ivory color and make my own colors by coloring it with my markers. Just need to have enough patience to glue it on and let it dry before coloring next time
Thank you sooo much for sharing this video.....I`m going to try it myself as soon as I can "get some balls"! he he he
I can`t imagine why the Flowersoft company ever thought they could charge almost $7 for a tiny jar of this stuff.........not for very long anyhow....not with with such creative people as we stampers are!!!! We`ll figure out a cheaper way before too long when they want to charge an outrageous price for their supplies.
This was such a smart, SMART idea !!!!!! Can`t wait to try it!
Linda
I have lots of dried flowers (and always drying more  ) I put them together in layers and snip snip snip them onto a box or brown bag. Dried baby's breath works well as do all those little bud things that fall of trees. The colors are not as bright but it'll do.
Thanks for the great mop idea Monica-
I'm going to look for a mop but I refuse to do floors!
