Default Faux Wood

I keep seeing samples with "faux wood". I looked under resources for a tutorial but either I am missing it or looking in the wrong spot for directions. Can someone please direct meto where to find it or share directions with me. Thanks so much.

It's under Technique Lovers Challenge #91 in the Challenges section. Here's my sample - it uses the Dry Brush Wheel - I don't understand why that wheel is retiring!!

I've done it before at a camp. We used creamy caramel paper and swiped a creamy caramel classic ink pad over the paper - it came out perfectly streaky!
