Default Faux Metal

Hi! I'm looking for instructions on the Faux Metal technique. I've looked everywhere on the site I can think to look and can't find it. TIA for your help!!

I learned how to do it at my demo meeting. Take a piece cardboard like the stuff that comes on the back of the inspiration sheets. Make this the size you want and then you are going to want to emboss 3 or 4 layers of embossing powder. You will want to re-versamark before each layer. Before you put the last layer make sure the stamp you are going to use is versamarked. Emboss your last layer and then immediatly stamp your image and hold it there for about 5 to 10 seconds and you are done.

I just tried it with some laminate tags I got from the hardware store! I used Pewter ep and it does look really neat!

Laminate tags are the little samples of laminate that you can get from your local hardware stores... Lowes... Home Depot ... They are like paint sample cards, only laminate like one uses for counter tops, etc. They are free and great for various crafts
